The Don Bosco Project was created in September of 2018 by Kyla Fraser and Jordan Vinh, two students who traveled to the town of Tecate in Mexico as part of a mission team.
In the summers of 2017 and 2018, they visited Rancho San Juan Bosco Youth Home, and were greatly impacted by the welcoming atmosphere and inspiring stories. After returning from their service trip, they felt called to take their mission a step further. They founded the Don Bosco Project, taking inspiration from the life and mission of Saint Bosco, who is the namesake of the orphanage.
The Don Bosco Project is a non-profit organization with the intent of covering tuition costs and school fees for the graduating young boys and girls of Rancho San Juan Bosco. 100% of the profits are used to provide opportunities for the high potential yet disadvantaged teens, so that they may live successful and fruitful lives and have doors open for them in the future.
